How To Work From Home In Style

Understanding that it is such an unsettling time for everyone, I am trying my best to keep my feed fun and exciting. The world is full of enough fear and anxiousness, so I am striving to post positive and inspirational posts through my everyday interior design work and blog content.

I have been working from home for the past 3 1/2 years, so I have the WFH essentials down pat! For today’s post, I am expanding my typical 8 favorites and giving you an array of essentials that will be sure to make your working from home experience a little better.

ONE - Work from home with this sleek, lacquer Charging Desk Station! This stand will hold your laptop or iPad and has three USB ports for charging and one adaptor that you can plug in the back. This computer stand allows you to keep your work environment clutter free! *monogramming is available*

TWO - I usually spend my mornings out of the office going to meetings and showrooms, while my afternoons I try and spend in the office. The second I walk through the door, I am usually already thinking about changing into comfy clothes, like this pajama set! I own several pair of pajamas from this company and their material is so soft, lightweight, and so stylish! Highly recommend!

THREE - Are you going crazy with all the kid’s school supplies that are starting to clutter every area of the house? This bronze pencil holder can store a number of your desk essentials like pens, pencils, scissors, rollers, paper clips and many more!

Her are some other desk accessories:

FOUR - Life is stressful right now (biggest understatement) and a face mask always seems to help calm me down. I have been wearing this hydrating mask every other night and I love how it makes my skin feel: hydrated, glowy and soft! Also, I tend to keep it on longer (at least 30 minutes), simply because I forget it’s on my face.

My recommended at-home face masks:

FIVE - I bought blue light glasses about a month ago and I am so happy that I did. I am constantly on my phone, laptop and TV so anything to minimize the blue light is worth the purchase. These glasses are made to help to block HEV light from screens and designed to minimize strain on the eyes and headaches associated with screen time. These are my favorites this week:

So many options for blue light glasses…

SIX - A pair of scissors that will fit in with the minimal look of your office.

If you are looking to complete this collection…

SEVEN - I put on my slippers the second I walk in the door. I love the mix of classic corduroy and soft sherpa on these slippers.

Slippers are ideal while you work from home! Here are some other options…

EIGHT - Whoever thought of this idea is genius! If you know me, you know that I either like my coffee hot (not room temperate) or cold with lots of ice (hence my regular Rook coffee run posts to my stories). This 10oz mug is temperature-controlled, allowing you to set your preferred beverage temperature! The concept is brilliant and the style is very appealing.

Can’t have too many temperature-controlled mugs…
