By combining Kara’s design aesthetic with her clients’ needs, she is able to create homes that are both functional and swoon worthy! This service could be as small as a one room re-design or as large as a home renovation or new construction project. 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

• Client Meetings: Discussing the scope of your project, budget and vision

• Architectural CAD Drawings: Including but not limited to floor plans, lighting plans, elevations and custom furniture drawings

• Design Books: Personalized presentation booklets that are updated after every meeting and include before photos, inspiration images, existing floor plans, proposed furniture layouts, elevations, detailed drawings, furniture and finish selections

• Site Visits: Measuring and coordination with Builders, Sub-Contractors and/or Architects

• Interior Selections and All Purchasing: Including but not limited to selecting and purchasing all furniture, fabric, rugs, hardware, wallcoverings, lighting, tile, art and accessories 

• Coordination of Storing and Delivery: Managing, receiving and storing all interior items until it is time for installation

HOW DO I DETERMINE MY BUDGET?

Kara often gets asked “what should my budget be” or “what is a reasonable budget for this type of project”. Just like the cost of shoes, cars and homes, the cost of goods range from low end to high end. Kara advises potential clients to keep this thought in mind when thinking of what to spend on your home. If you have trouble coming up with a project budget, Kara will discuss this topic with you further during your In-Home Consultation.

Every client home and project is unique! Kara prefers to meet for an In-Home Consultation, determine the scope of work, and then discuss a contract inclusive of her design fee.
