Happy Wednesday! The holidays are approaching which means it’s time to entertain. For this week’s list, I wanted to give you a full look at what could be your table decor on Thanksgiving. All eight picks are meant to work together to create a complete design vision.
Let me know what you think and I’d be happy to do a similar post, with different picks, closer to Hanukkah and Christmas!
ONE - The woven seagrass on these highball glasses adds texture and warmth to your table scape. They are ideal for a hot summer day but are a pleasant surprise when hosting a Thanksgiving dinner. Go with the unexpected!
TWO - The smaller scale burgundy, checkered pattern on these napkins pairs beautifully with the larger scale plaid for your dessert plate (check out number four)! This company has a matching tea towel and table runner if you’re sold and want more from this collection!
THREE - The raw look of these wood slice placemats adds personality to your table. You want to make sure your table contrasts the wood tone of these placements. So, if you have a painted, neutral table (white, black or grey) you are golden; but if you have a table in a similar wood tone, add a white or ivory tablecloth to cover the table.
FOUR - A classic plaid. This dessert plate will introduce color and pattern to your table scape, while your neutral dinner plate and placemat will balance out the table setting.
FIVE - I bought these napkin rings last week and used them for a family dinner party. I usually steer clear of fake flowers and greenery but these cedar branches look as real as you can get while still being faux.
SIX - YES to the silhouette of these wine glasses.
SEVEN - Here’s your other touch of wood tones. Love these sitting next to your wooden placemats (number three).
EIGHT - If you like white and simple plates but don’t want boring, choose these! These manufactured rock plates look like pieces of sophisticated slate on your table.
